How did it start?
History of TETTY preschool
TETTY Kindergarten was founded in 1999 as one of the first kindergartens in the Czech Republic to teach in English. In 2009 we took it over just before bankruptcy and restarted it.
Our goal was to provide children with optimal preschool education in a bilingual (English-Czech) environment and to support their overall development. With an emphasis on education in both languages, we want the children to have equal opportunities and prospects for successfully choosing their future studies. Children from TETTY achieve excellent results in English and Czech, and are successfully accepted into schools with challenging admissions procedures. Year on year success in challenging primary school admissions confirms that our aim and strategy is working.
